Sam Calabrese
Samuel is a third-year undergraduate student at the University of Florida, he joined the lab as a research assistant in the spring of 2019. He is currently working toward getting a Bachelor of Science in biology. After graduation he is planning to attend either medical or dental school.
Anna Marchus
Anna Marchus is currently a sophomore at UF. She is majoring in Biomedical engineering and is pursuing medical school, with plans of becoming a sports medicine doctor. When she is not in class or the lab, Anna enjoys rowing for UF’s crew team, riding horses, and picking up heavy things.
Isabella Menendez
Born and raised in South Florida, Isabella Menendez grew up in a Gator family. Majoring in Health Science at the University of Florida, Isabella intends on attending medical school. Additionally, she aims to use her Studio Art minor to assist her in using her creativity to help solve the research questions proposed by the lab she volunteers at in UF’s Department of Clinical and Health Psychology. Isabella’s next years will hopefully be filled with plenty of progress towards a career as a surgeon.
Mehdi Rizk
Mehdi is a fourth-year undergraduate at the University of Florida majoring in Health Sciences. He joined the lab in the Spring of 2020 as a research assistant and hopes to pursue medical school after he graduates. Outside of academia, Mehdi enjoys soccer, playing the trumpet, and saltwater fishing.
